Our History

Established in 1973 by John Handley, John Handley Motors Ltd in Fulwood & Preston is a local, independent garage which offers customers the family values they deserve and expect along with experienced workmanship at reasonable prices. We have four friendly staff here to help and advise you and excellent facilities to repair and service your vehicles.

In autumn 2023 we became a Servicesure Autocentre, making us part of a network of independent garages across the UK who are committed to meeting and surpassing their customers’ expectations. All Servicesure members carry out their work and their customer service in accordance with a strict Customer Service Charter and all our work is backed by the industry-leading Servicesure National Warranty. This warranty means that if you experience an issue with any work we’ve done on your vehicle you can take it to any other UK Servicesure Autocentre for remedial work to be done. Useful if you happen to be away on holiday in the unlikely event an issue arises.

Our Services

We carry out general vehicle servicing and repairs while also specialising in Air Conditioning Re-Gas and DPF Cleaning. John Handley Motors Ltd has a class 4 testing bay which can cater for up to 8 MOTs a day.

We also offer TerraClean engine cleaning and  Pro-Cut Brake Skimming (for high-performance vehicles as well as normal cars) – this service starts at only £15 per disc. Please enquire for more information.
